Purpose of Job :

To manage, maintain, and optimize on-premises data center and AWS & other cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliable system operations, seamless application deployments, and high availability of critical IT services across the organization.

Essential Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Overall working experience of 4+ years. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in system administration across Data Center and AWS cloud environments.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (preferred) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (preferred).
- Experience of Indian cloud services will be an advantage.

- Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server administration
- Robust knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda
- Data Center operations: rack/stack, cabling, power/cooling, hardware lifecycle management
- Virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM
- Configuration Management and IaC: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform
- Scripting and automation: Bash, PowerShell, Python
- Web and Application Servers: Apache, Nginx, IIS, Tomcat
- Database administration basics: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server
- Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity planning
- Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, DHCP administration
- Monitoring and alerting: Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, PRTG
- Patch management, OS hardening, and vulnerability remediation

- Automating routine system administration tasks and deployment pipelines
- Implementing and maintaining backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
- Monitoring system performance, capacity planning, and proactive issue resolution
- Managing OS patching, security updates, and compliance hardening
- Supporting CI/CD infrastructure and release management activities
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and root cause analysis
- Managing incidents and participating in on-call rotations for 24x7 operations
- Collaborating with network, security, and application teams for integrated operations

Maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation and runbooks.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

- Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers in the Data Center and AWS cloud
- Manage end-to-end application and system deployments across DC and cloud environments
- Automate system provisioning, configuration, and routine maintenance using scripts and IaC tools
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity; set up alerts and dashboards
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core directory and network services
- Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
- Ensure timely OS patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation
- Support development and DevOps teams with infrastructure needs and environment setup
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and known issues
- Respond to infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, compliance mandates, and infrastructure performance KPIs
- Participate in on-call rotations to support 24x7 operational requirements
