Key Responsibilities

- Handle residential and commercial interior projects end-to-end, from initial design development through execution.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetically appealing interior layouts.
- Develop, review, and approve design drawings, layouts, BOQs, quotations, and project documentation.
- Lead client presentations in coordination with the Sales Manager and incorporate client feedback into design solutions.
- Ensure effective zoning, storage planning, space utilisation, and functional planning.
- Conduct project site visits to assess site conditions and validate design feasibility.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure site readiness before installation and execution.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review designs and drawings prepared by Junior Designers for accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to project requirements.
- Supervise, guide, and mentor Junior Designers and ensure timely completion of assigned design work.
- Maintain structured and updated project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, quotations, revisions, and approvals.
- Identify design or execution challenges and provide practical solutions in coordination with relevant teams.
- Ensure projects follow approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and company processes.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in residential and commercial interior design.




- Strong experience in spatial planning, layout development, and space optimisation.
- Hands-on experience with custom furniture, cabinetry, and storage systems.
- Experience in site execution, site coordination, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and detailing.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of Junior Designers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Approval & Design Quality Responsibility

- All designs, drawings, BOQs, quotations, and project documentation prepared by Junior Designers must be reviewed and approved by the Senior Design Coordinator before submission to clients or release for execution.
- The Senior Design Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining design quality, accuracy, consistency, and execution discipline across assigned projects.
- Ensure that approved designs are clearly communicated to the site and execution teams to minimise errors and rework.
