Role Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overall branch performance, including revenue
generation, client acquisition, operations, compliance, and team management. The role
focuses on driving business growth while ensuring adherence to regulatory and operational
standards of the stock broking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Drive revenue through acquisition of new clients and activation of trading accounts
- Promote broking and investment products such as equities, derivatives, mutual funds,
IPOs, bonds, etc.
- Develop local market strategies to increase branch profitability
- Achieve monthly and annual business targets
2. Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff
- Set targets and monitor team performance
- Conduct regular reviews and training programs
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with retail and HNI clients
- Handle key client escalations
- Improve client retention and cross-selling
4. Operations & Compliance
- Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations
- Ensure compliance with SEBI, NSE, BSE, and exchange regulations
- Oversee KYC, AML, and audit readiness
5. Risk Management
- Monitor trading activities and client exposure
- Ensure adherence to risk and margin policies
- Prevent unauthorized trading
6. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare MIS reports
- Coordinate with HO teams such as compliance, risk, and operations

Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate in Commerce, Business, or Finance
- NISM certifications preferred
- MBA (Finance/Marketing) is an advantage
