Test Automation Engineer
Responsibilities
- Craft, develop, and integrate automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
- Conduct exhaustive API testing and validate data flow and outputs.
- Leverage AI methodologies to enhance testing precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to comprehend system architecture and design test methodologies.
- Identify, log, and monitor software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement processes for testing tools and methodologies.
- Keep meticulous documentation of testing processes and results.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation and AI.
Mandatory skill sets
- Deep expertise in Python programming for automation testing.
- 3+ years experience with Playwright for browser automation across languages.
- 2-3 years of experience in API testing practices.
- Acquaintance with AI in automation testing to innovate and optimize testing approaches.
Preferred skill sets
- Familiarity with Robot Framework complemented by Browser Library for comprehensive testing suites.
- Experience and knowledge in JavaScript or TypeScript with Selenium
- 3+ years of experience in test automation or similar roles.
