Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative DP Design Technology Teacher to join our dynamic IB faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme (DP) Design Technology curriculum and a passion for design thinking, innovation, and problem-solving. This role requires the ability to guide students through the design cycle, foster creativity, and connect technology with real-world applications.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme Design Technology curriculum.
- Create an inquiry-driven classroom setting that promotes conceptual understanding and student-led learning.
- Facilitate the design cycle, guiding students through research, ideation, development, and evaluation of design solutions.
- Design and assess formative and summative tasks in accordance with IB assessment criteria.
- Guide students in planning and executing their Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EE) related to Design Technology.
- Integrate technology, digital tools, and practical applications into classroom instruction.




- Support students in developing skills in areas such as product design, digital design, prototyping, and innovation. Maintain accurate student records, grades, and progress reports.
- Provide academic mentorship and pastoral care to students.
- Participate in curriculum review, collaborative planning, and IB training workshops.
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives, events, and professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Design, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital design tools, CAD software, and prototyping techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Passion for inquiry-based education and student-centered pedagogy.

Work Timings

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM - 3:45 PM

(Occasional extended hours may be required based on school needs.)
