Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative MYP Digital Design Educator to teach students of Grades 7 to 10. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of digital design, computational thinking, and problem-solving using technology. The ideal teacher will be skilled in designing concept-based, inquiry-driven units aligned with the MYP Design framework and adept at integrating up-to-date digital tools to foster creativity, innovation, and real-world application.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Digital Design lessons for Grades 7-10.
- Develop inquiry-based and concept-driven units aligned with MYP Key and Related Concepts, Global Contexts, and Approaches to Learning (ATL).
- Facilitate the design cycle, guiding students through inquiry, ideation, creation, and evaluation of digital solutions.
- Encourage problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity through real-world design challenges.
- Teach and support skills in areas such as graphic design, coding, app development, web design, and multimedia production (as applicable).
- Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to cater to different learning needs and styles.




- Assess student understanding through a range of formative and summative tasks aligned with MYP assessment criteria.
- Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance collaboration, creativity, and reflection.
- Support the development of students research, communication, and thinking skills through project-based learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital tools such as graphic design software, coding platforms, and multimedia tools.
- Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Ability to foster a classroom culture of creativity, inquiry, and innovation.
- Passion for technology-driven, student-centered learning.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Work Timings: Monday to Saturday | 7:40 AM - 3:45 PM

(Occasional extended hours may be required based on school needs.)
