Minimum 5 years’ Experience of working in a boarding school (Sainik Schools) is often prioritized because this role involves mentoring students outside of standard 9-to-5 classroom hours.

Must have prior teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Position Overview

SRK Sainik School is seeking a creative and empathetic Life Skills & Arts Faculty member who is responsible for the holistic development of a cadet’s personality beyond the traditional academic sphere. This role serves as a bridge between rigid military discipline and the fluid world of creativity and emotional growth. You are tasked with ensuring that every cadet possesses the social grace, mental toughness, and creative outlet necessary to excel in the Armed Forces and in life.





Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workshops on Officer-Like Qualities (OLQs), leadership, and military-standard social etiquette.
- Instruct cadets in Fine Arts (sketching, painting, and sculpture) with a focus on patriotic and cultural themes.
- Manage school-wide creative projects, including wall murals, the school magazine, and event backdrops.
- Teach Life Skills such as emotional intelligence, stress management, financial literacy, and time management.

Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to teach Indian Art history and its connection to modern culture.
- Solid command presence to manage and discipline a classroom of 30-40 cadets effectively.
- Exceptional public speaking skills in English for seminars and discussions.
- Basic counseling skills to support cadets with homesickness, peer pressure, and personal growth.
