Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for research and innovation across the university
- Develop and implement research policies, guidelines, and frameworks
- Promote interdisciplinary and cooperative research initiatives
- Oversee research projects, funding proposals, and grant management
- Encourage faculty and students to publish in reputed national and international journals
- Build partnerships with industries, government bodies, and academic institutions
- Organize conferences, workshops, seminars, and research-related events
- Monitor research quality, ethics, and compliance standards
- Facilitate patents, copyrights, and intellectual property development
- Guide faculty in securing research grants and consultancy projects
- Prepare research reports, rankings data (NAAC/NIRF), and institutional documentation
- Strengthen the university’s research profile and global visibility
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
- Strong research background with significant publications in reputed journals
- Proven experience in research leadership/administration
- Experience in handling funded research projects and collaborations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of accreditation frameworks like NAAC/NIRF preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of teaching/research experience
