Digital Marketing Intern

Role summary

You’ll join as Green Worms’ in market digital marketing intern for Kochi. This is a hands on, learning first role ideal for someone who wants to learn digital growth end to end, do field activations, and grow into a permanent in house role as the team expands. You’ll support campaign execution, local content and community engagement, lead handling on WhatsApp, and basic analytics.

Key responsibilities

Agency coordination & project management (POC)
- Be the single point of contact for the digital marketing agency: provide access, seek approval for creatives, monitor timelines, and ensure deliverables meet local needs.
- Attend weekly standups, review weekly reports, and translate agency recommendations into local actions.
- Learn agency processes and document SOPs to internalize work over time. Local SEO & Google Business Profile (GMB)
- Own the Kochi Google Business Profile — posts, Q&A;, photos,



category & service set up, and review responses.
- Work with agency to implement hyperlocal SEO: locality landing pages, LocalBusiness schema, meta titles/descriptions, and mobile speed fixes.
- Track GMB rankings and map visibility for priority market keywords.

Paid campaigns & conversion
- Coordinate paid Google & Meta campaigns with the agency; review audiences, ad copy, landing page behaviour and lead quality.
- Monitor ad performance daily, flag issues, and implement on-ground experiments to improve conversion to customers.
- Ensure landing pages have WhatsApp CTA and work with dev/agency to improve mobile load/CRO.

Social media & content (Malayalam + English)
- Maintain a content calendar for WhatsApp Business, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
- Capture short testimonial videos and before/after content on the ground.
- Run community engagement: merchant groups, reels, local influencer outreach
