Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Examinations: Perform accurate refraction, tonometry, and slit-lamp examinations.
- Specialized Diagnostics: Operate and interpret results from advanced equipment such as OCT, B-Scan, Perimetry (HFA), and Topography.
- Surgical Support: Conduct pre-operative measurements (A-scan/Biometry) for cataract surgeries and assist in post-operative follow-ups.
- Contact Lens Clinic: Fit and manage specialty contact lenses, including RGP and Scleral lenses if required.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients on eye health, surgical procedures, and the proper use of optical aids.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Ophthalmology team to ensure seamless patient flow and integrated care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry (B.Optom / M.Optom) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: experience in a clinical or hospital setting (Freshers with strong internship records are welcome to apply).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy for patients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in [Insert Languages, e.g., English, Hindi, and Marathi].
