- Teach various visual art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking,
and digital art, based on the curriculum.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote creativity, skill development, and
artistic expression.
- Organize and curate school exhibitions and art shows.
- Asesst students; progress and provide constructive feedback to help them enhance their artistic abilities.
- Collaborate with other departments and staff to integrate visual art into interdisciplinary school projects.
- Ensure a secure, clean, and inspiring art room environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in visual arts and incorporate them into teaching.
- Promote teamwork and community-building through group art projects.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports artistic
exploration.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Fine Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Visual Art Teacher in a school or educational institution.
- Proficiency in a range of visual art techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture,and mixed media.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse artistic interests and skill levels.
- Knowledge of art history and contemporary art trends.
- Ability to organize art exhibitions and manage art-related events.
