About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing to identify functional and UI issues.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts.
- Participate in SDLC and STLC processes to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
- Work with the development team to identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).
- Perform regression testing and ensure timely reporting of issues.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Manual and Automation Testing concepts.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools (like Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla).
- Basic understanding of automation tools (like Selenium or Postman).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2-6 months of internship or hands-on experience in software testing will be an added advantage.
