Purpose of the role:
The Merchandising department is responsible for achieving key business targets through the tracking and analysis of performance metrics and collaboration across departments. As a team we will optimise sales, provide insight to Sales and Management and lead on strategic decision making.
The Merchandising Admin Assistants' role will focus on supporting the Merchandiser and wider team by maintaining and running reports, updating SharePoint files and ensuring data accuracy, supporting client and International Sales and providing admin support across the team.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Data & Reporting
Maintain reports, updating these weekly from data sources while being able to spot and correct data accuracy issues if they arise
Run reports to optimise deal performance and availability, with support from the Merchandiser
Provide ad-hoc admin support to the Merchandiser and wider team, with the opportunity to be involved in analytical tasks inline with development
Sales Support
Maintain deals and calendars onsite,
ensuring all meet compliance requirements and raising any risk / opportunities to the wider team to minimize missed sales and maximise visit impact
Pull data and perform some deal performance analysis
Update SharePoint files, ensuring data accuracy
Keep up to date with market trends, review prices against competitors and monitor updates from our merchants
Update systems and collaborate with Bookings Services to support with price drop actions, discounts amendments and deal improvements
Soft Skills required:
Ability to prioritise and multitask in an often fast-paced dynamic setting, responding to ad-hoc data requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks / projects
Attention to detail and the capacity to perform data/admin tasks independently
Good communication skills, considering some team members work internationally you need to be able to collaborate well across various forms of communication
