Jr Project Coordinator in water treatment industry
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects by coordinating schedules, documentation, vendors, and internal teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical and system-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports.
- Handle subcontractor and client billing, including reconciliation and authorization.
- Ensure accurate entry of bills and forward approved invoices to accounts for payment processing.
- Prepare and issue debit notes for recovery related to rework or faulty workmanship as per site recommendations.
- Maintain complete billing records and measurement books.
- Study tender specifications and BOQs, and extract quantities from drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and client requirements.
- Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, and cost variations.
- Coordinate with site engineers for timely submission of billing documents.
- Assist in preparation of variation orders, extra item justifications, and claims.
- Maintain billing logs, payment trackers, and pending approval records.
- Support finance/accounts team with required billing and payment documentation.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of documents from client/consultant.
- Maintain document control systems for site and head office coordination.
- Coordinate with site engineers for updated progress and as-built information.

- Prepare, compile, and maintain all project-related documents including:
- Work completion reports
- Daily/weekly/monthly progress reports
- Measurement sheets and site records
