Job purpose
As part of the Global IT organization, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and monitoring Global Teamcenter PLM servers and components.
Sulzer is looking for a hands-on, dynamic and reliable PLM System Administrator for Siemens Teamcenter to join our global Engineering Applications team.
Main accountabilities and tasks
1.System Administration of Teamcenter:
- Plan, install, configure, maintain, deploy, patch and upgrade Teamcenter servers and components
- Monitor, alert, manage and troubleshoot system performance
- Manage backup and recovery
- Configure and manage background processes, dispatchers, system and audit logs
2.
Business Administration of Teamcenter:
- Manage users and groups
- Create and maintain templates
3. Support:
- Provide 3rd level support: troubleshoot issues related to Teamcenter servers and operations
- Identify critical issues and take responsibility until successful resolution
- Create and maintain in-depth system knowledge and documentation of Teamcenter suite of tools
4. As an active member of the Global IT Engineering Applications team:
- Lead and be a part of projects
- Testing/validation activities on new implementations, enhancements
