Role Overview

This role goes beyond manual test execution. You will design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks that validate real-world failure scenarios, system reliability, and production stability. We are looking for someone who can analyze complex systems, identify hidden risks early, and prevent defects through intelligent automation before they reach users.

Key Responsibilities
- Own quality through automation-first testing across mobile apps and backend APIs
- Design and maintain automated test suites covering:
- Multiple devices, OS versions, and environments
- Foreground, background, and terminated app states
- Analyze requirements, user flows, and system architecture to:
- Identify high-risk areas and edge cases
- Proactively automate failure-prone workflows
- Build automation to validate real-world conditions such as:
- Poor or unstable internet connectivity
- Network switching (WiFi ↔ Mobile data)
- High latency, partial failures, and retries
- Automate reliability testing for:
- Real-time features (calls, chat, sockets)
- Asynchronous processes (queues,



retries, delayed responses)
- Ensure backend quality through automated API testing:
- API correctness and contract validation
- Error handling, timeouts, retries
- Data integrity under concurrency and partial failures
- Define, implement, and evolve:
- Test automation strategy and architecture
- CI/CD-integrated regression pipelines
- Analyze production issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring data, and convert learnings into automated test coverage
- Collaborate closely with developers to shift quality left and improve testability
- Provide transparent defect reports with reproduction steps, logs, and root-cause insights
