Position Overview:
As a Fashion Design Intern, you will work closely with our design team to assist in the creation and development of our latest collections. This is a hands-on internship that provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the fashion industry, learn about the design process, and develop your skills in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Design Assistance: Support the design team in creating sketches, technical drawings, and illustrations for new collections.

Trend Research: Conduct research on current fashion trends, fabrics, and color schemes to inform design decisions.

Sample Coordination: Assist in the coordination of sample production, including fabric selection, pattern making, and liaising with suppliers.

Tech Pack Creation: Help prepare detailed tech packs for manufacturers, including measurements, materials, and construction details.

Fabric and Material Sourcing: Source and organize fabrics, trims, and other materials needed for sample production.

Fittings and Adjustments:



Participate in garment fittings and provide feedback for necessary adjustments to ensure the best fit and design.

Organizational Support: Maintain organized records of designs, samples, and materials. Update and manage the design database.

Collaborative Projects: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, merchandising, and production to ensure cohesive and market-ready designs.

Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties as needed, including managing design schedules, setting up meetings, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program or a related field.

Strong sketching and illustration skills.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.

Basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern making.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
