Job Description - Solar Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) Engineer /

TechnicianDepartment: Solar Projects

Job Location: Site-based

Experience: 1-3 years

To ensure smooth operation, performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power plants for maximum efficiency and uptime.

Key Responsibilities
- Daily operation and monitoring of solar power plant performance
- Regular cleaning of solar panels and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of:
- Solar modules
- Inverters
- ACDB / DCDB
- Cables and junction boxes
- Identifying faults and resolving breakdown issues at site
- Monitoring generation data and reporting underperformance
- Maintaining O&M; logbooks, site records, and daily reports:
- Ensuring safety procedures and site discipline
- Coordinating with vendors, electricians, and internal teams when required




- Supporting warranty claims and component replacement activities

Skills & Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / BE / BTech (Electrical, Electronics, or related field)
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical components
- Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester)
- Willingness to work in office and at heights
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, monitoring portals)
- Two-wheeler & driving license preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
