This position will be based at Ahmednagar Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.) Job Title : Deputy Manager - Industrial Engineering Experience - 4 - 8 years Education- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering etc, Experience in Industrial Engineering Location: Ahilyanagar works

Responsibilities

- Carry out Time and Motion study through Stopwatch, MOST Study (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique).
- Analysis the work content & reduce the NVA activity.
- Calculate Manpower based upon monthly schedule and most study and monitor, improve, control.
- Carry out the Line layouts for production of manufacturing shop, Assembly, testing, Printing, Packing etc though AutoCAD etc
- Implement the lean principle and carry out the lean diagnostic in the process, monitor losses in the process, carry out the continual improvement projects with cross functional teams, communicate, lead the teams like production, Quality, material, store, maintenance and Engineering and implement recent projects.
- Present the improvement Projects
- Calculate takt time,



bottleneck operations, line balancing etc
- Monitor and improve the productivity through Cycle time reduction projects.
- Reduce non-value-added process through fixturing, single piece flow, 5S improvement, vertical space utilisation, semi automation, Kaizens, Value stream Mapping (VSM), Mudha, Mura, Muri, Mudha walk etc
- Train the teams for 5S, IMS and carry out and improve the 5S activity on shop floor.
- Monitor, Analysis, Improve and control the productivity of supporting functions like Quality, Warehouse, maintenance etc

Qualifications

- Experience - 4 - 8 years
- Education- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering etc
- Experience in Industrial Engineering
