Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Securities Lawyer role based in Mumbai. The associate will work on matters before SAT, NCLT, High Court, including advising on regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in securities law, corporate law, and financial markets regulation, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant statutes,
rules, and circulars.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in regulatory advisory work, including compliance assessments, liaison with regulators, and handling enforcement or investigative proceedings.
- Skills in legal research, analysis, and drafting, with the ability to prepare clear and precise pleadings, opinions, transaction documents, and internal notes.
- Exposure to dispute resolution, including litigation and arbitration related to securities and commercial matters, and comfort appearing before forums under guidance of senior lawyers.
- Strong communication and client-handling abilities, including structured written communication, qualified client interactions, and effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site law firm environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution with minimum 3 years of post qualification experince; additional qualifications in securities or corporate law are an advantage.
