Role Description The Assistant Manager - Stores (Wiring Harness) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. The role involves overseeing day-to-day store operations for wiring harness materials, including inventory management, material receipt and issuance, and documentation compliance.

The Assistant

Manager ensures accurate stock levels, coordinates with production, procurement, and quality teams, and supports timely availability of materials for manufacturing.





Responsibilities include implementing store management best practices, monitoring safety and housekeeping standards, and supporting loss prevention measures. The role also requires maintaining system records, preparing regular reports, and contributing to continuous improvement in store processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service capabilities to support internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and prepare clear documentation and reports.
- Hands-on Store Management experience, including inventory control, material handling, and system-based stock management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention or equivalent loss control practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or wiring harness industry, preferably in store or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems and basic MS Office skills.
- Ability to work on-site in a rapid-paced environment, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
