Role Description The Unit Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.

The Unit

Manager will lead and manage a sales or operations unit, focusing on achieving health insurance business targets and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Daily responsibilities include supervising team members, tracking performance metrics, providing guidance and training, and implementing company strategies at the unit level. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders,



supporting customer acquisition and retention, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Manager is expected to foster a positive, ethical work workplace and promote ABHICL’s health and wellness-focused product offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising and developing high-performing teams.
- Sales and business development capabilities, ideally in insurance, financial services, or healthcare-related sectors.
- Operational and process management skills, including planning, performance tracking, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders and engaging customers.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret performance data and address unit-level challenges effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in health insurance or financial services within the Kolkata region or similar markets is preferred.
- Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for reporting, customer management, and internal communication.
