Job Summary

Safebooks Global is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Trainee Australian Bookkeepers to join our growing Australian Accounting team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in building a career in Australian Accounting, Bookkeeping, GST, and BAS.

Selected candidates will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to Australian accounting processes, software, and client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping for Australian clients

✔ Record invoices, bills, receipts, and accounting transactions

✔ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

✔ Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

✔ Pass journal entries and maintain General Ledger records

✔ Support month-end and year-end closing activities

✔ Assist in preparing financial reports and working papers

✔ Learn Australian GST and BAS fundamentals

✔ Maintain accurate accounting documentation

✔ Work closely with senior accountants and team leaders

Required Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter

CA Intern will be given preference.

Freshers and candidates with 0–1 year experience can apply

Required Skills





✔ Strong accounting fundamentals✔ Knowledge of Debit, Credit, and Journal Entries

✔ Basic MS Excel skills

✔ Good analytical and numerical ability✔ Attention to detail

✔ Good English communication skills

✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks

Exposure to GST/BAS concepts is an advantage

Internship experience in accounting will be preferred
