Role Purpose The Trade Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring and managing trade-focused customers, driving trade business growth, increasing current account balances, generating Trade & Forex (TFX) income, and sourcing trade finance assets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and acquire new Trade Current Accounts of importers, exporters, manufacturers, and trading companies.

- Activate newly acquired trade accounts and ensure timely onboarding and transaction initiation.

- Drive growth in Current Account balances by increasing customer engagement and transaction volumes.

- Generate Trade & Forex (TFX) income through trade finance products, foreign exchange solutions, and cross-border banking services.

- Source Trade Assets including Packing Credit, Post Shipment Finance, Buyers' Credit, and other trade finance products.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective trade customers.

- Identify customer needs and provide customized trade and forex solutions.

- Work closely with Branch Banking, Trade Operations,



and Product teams to ensure seamless customer service and faster deal execution.

- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, RBI guidelines, and internal bank policies.

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets across account sourcing, trade assets, TFX income, and CASA value.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of Trade Current Accounts sourced.

- Trade Account Activation Rate.

- Current Account Value / Average Balance (ABV).

- Trade & Forex (TFX) Income generated.

- Trade Asset Book sourced.

- Customer acquisition and portfolio growth.

- Cross-sell ratio and customer retention.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 2 to 8 years of experience in Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, or Relationship Management.

- Robust understanding of Trade Finance products, Forex, Current Accounts, and Working Capital solutions.

- Excellent relationship management, sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
