Role Summary

We are hiring an experienced Tool Design Engineer with deep expertise in Press Tool and Progressive Tool Design for high-volume stamping operations. You will own end-to-end tool design — from concept and strip layout through tool trials, debugging, and production sign-off — while driving quality via APQP/PPAP/PFMEA and continuous improvement.

- Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing certification
- Project Management (PMP / PRINCE2) or internal project lead experience
- Automotive Tier-1/ OEM experience (IATF 16949 environment)
- Knowledge of tool steel selection, heat treatment, surface coatings
- Experience with simulation (AutoForm, LS-DYNA, Dynaform) — a plus

Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Tool Engineering / Production Engineering
- Specialization or certification in Press Tool Design / Progressive Tool Design preferred

Work Location Peenya Industrial Area, Bangalore — on-site role (no remote/hybrid)
