Role & responsibilities

We are looking for someone experienced in TIBCO Spotfire Visualization Engineer to manage, develop, and support dashboards and analytics solutions. Youll help create visual reports, manage the Spotfire platform, and work with business users to turn data into insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Spotfire.
- Administer the Spotfire setting (server setup, upgrades, user access, etc.).
- Work with different data sources like SQL, Excel, and cloud databases.
- Set up data connections, scheduled updates, and automation services.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs.
- Optimize performance of Spotfire reports and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage licensing, roles, and permissions in Spotfire.

• Document processes and follow best practices for development and security.

Preferred candidate profile

What Were Looking For:





- Strong experience with TIBCO Spotfire (Server and Analyst).
- Ability to create interactive dashboards and visualizations.
- Good knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
- Experience with data wrangling, joins, and expressions in Spotfire.
- Understanding of Spotfire features like IronPython scripting, data functions, and R integration is a plus.
- Experience with server administration and Spotfire Web Player.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with both IT and business users.

Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with Python, R, or scripting for advanced analytics.
- Experience with automation tools like TIBCO Automation Services.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or big data tools.
- Understanding of data governance, access control, and dashboard security.
