Role Description The Technical Lead will oversee the design, development, and delivery of core features on the Planorama platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. This full time, on-site role based in Mumbai involves guiding a cross-functional engineering team, conducting code reviews, setting technical standards, and mentoring team members.

The Technical

Lead will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures, and will participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and incident resolution. The role also includes optimizing existing systems, improving deployment pipelines, and championing best practices in security,



testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in software architecture and system design, with experience leading end-to-end implementation of complex, scalable platforms.
- Proficiency React/Next.js, TypeScript, Python/Django, and PostgreSQL with solid knowledge of APIs and microservices.
- Background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and monitoring tools.
- Build and maintain integrations with WhatsApp/Meta APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, email providers, and other third-party services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing engineering teams, mentoring developers, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive setting.
- Strong understanding of software quality practices, including unit and integration testing, code reviews, and secure development principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on delivering reliable products on schedule.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; experience in SaaS or event-tech products is a plus.
