Job Descriptions - Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

· Minimum 3+years of experience in relevant in Supplier Quality and supplier management

· Need to list the critical suppliers from the existing list considering Quality and take suppliers audits and make suppliers to improve the quality of supplying parts.

· Leading cross-functional discussions with Engineering, SCM, Production, Manufacturing, and Quality teams for issue resolution.

· Monitoring supplier PPM trends, defect reduction activities, and supplier performance improvement plans.

· Calculate the supplier rating based on Quality, Delivery and price and circulate to suppliers on quarterly basis.

· Attend for in process rejections in line and get immediate corrective action and preventive actions from suppliers.

· Ensure to send the rejection materials back to suppliers and try to make Zero incoming rejections.





· Managing supplier quality activities for automotive electronic components and systems.

· Coordinating failure analysis activities with suppliers and customers for field and line issues.

· Driving supplier corrective actions and ensuring timely closure.

· Leading supplier escalation meetings and tracking improvement action implementation.

· Presenting supplier quality performance, customer complaints, FA status, and supplier escalation reports to management regularly.

· Driving PCN (Process/Product Change Notification) activities with suppliers and coordinating internal approval processes.

· Reviewing supplier PCN documents and ensuring implementation validation without impact to product quality.

· Leading internal team review meetings for quality issue discussion, action tracking, and risk mitigation
