Job Summary

Shadowfax is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Zone Manager (SZM) to manage and drive end-to-end last-mile delivery operations across the assigned zone. The role involves managing multiple hubs, delivery partners, operational teams, and key performance metrics to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end last-mile delivery operations across the assigned zone.
- Oversee the performance and operational efficiency of multiple hubs.
- Lead and manage hub teams and delivery partners to achieve business targets.
- Monitor daily delivery performance, productivity, SLA adherence, and other operational KPIs.
- Ensure timely delivery and maintain high service quality across the zone.
- Drive delivery partner productivity, availability, and performance.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Manage manpower and capacity planning based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues within defined timelines.
- Analyse operational data and reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive cost optimisation, productivity improvement, and process efficiency.




- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Travel across assigned hubs/locations as required to monitor and improve operations.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM is an added advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, transportation, last-mile delivery, or operations.
- Experience managing multiple hubs, teams, or geographical locations is preferred.
- Strong understanding of last-mile delivery and logistics operations.
- Experience in managing delivery partners, fleet operations, and operational KPIs.
- Robust leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned zone.
