1. Job Summary
The Store Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day store and warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, material issuance, stock reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records. The role requires close coordination with Purchase, Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth material flow.
1. Key Responsibilities
Store & Inventory Management
- Manage day-to-day activities of the store/warehouse.
- Receive raw materials, components, packing materials, and other items.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging, and systematic storage of materials.
- Maintain proper bin locations and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Issue materials to Production and other departments against authorized requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged materials, and discrepancies and report them to the Store Head.
Documentation & ERP
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Material Issue Slips, Stock Transfer Notes, and other store documents.
- Update inward, outward, and stock movement transactions in ERP/software.
- Ensure all store transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounts and Purchase teams for invoice and material-related discrepancies.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with Production regarding daily material requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of required raw materials and components.
- Monitor material consumption against production requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase for pending and urgent material requirements.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
Inventory Control
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Support monthly and periodic stock audits.
- Investigate inventory variances and take corrective action.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and wastage.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the store area.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling of heavy, fragile, and sensitive materials.

The Store Executive will regularly coordinate with:
- Purchase Department
- Production Department
- Quality Department
- Dispatch & Logistics
- Accounts & Finance
- Maintenance Department
- Store Head / Management
1. Required Skills
- Good knowledge of store and inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/software and MS Excel.
- Positive documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to maintain stock accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and inventory control practices.
1. Qualification & Experience
Education: Graduate / Diploma in any relevant field. Experience: 1–4 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory, or Manufacturing Operations.
