- Manage and supervise Statutory Audits of companies across various industries.
- Lead and execute Bank Audits, including statutory branch audits, concurrent audits, stock audits and related assignments.
- Plan audit engagements, prepare audit programmes and allocate work to team members.
- Review financial statements, books of accounts, schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, applicable Accounting Standards/Ind AS, RBI guidelines, ICAI Standards on Auditing and other regulatory requirements.
- Review internal controls and identify financial, operational and compliance risks.
- Conduct substantive testing, verification and analytical review of financial information.
- Review audit working papers prepared by team members and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify audit observations, discuss them with clients and prepare audit reports.
- Coordinate directly with clients, management and partners during audit assignments.
- Monitor audit timelines and ensure completion of assignments within agreed deadlines.
- Guide,
train and supervise junior team members and article assistants.
- Handle multiple audit assignments simultaneously and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Assist partners/senior management in resolving complex accounting and audit matters.
- Maintain skilled relationships with clients and support business development where required.
Desired Skills
