NJob Description
nThe Master Data Specialist acts as the liaison between the Customer, Sales team, and Order Management team to ensure an efficient internal process and an excellent overall customer experience. This position plays an important role in improving sales productivity by ensuring a streamlined ordering process.
NEssential Functions:

- n
- Set up new customers in SAP based on Zendesk ticket submitted by Sales N
- Complete supplier formssubmitted by recent customers N
- Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal as promotional code N
- Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce N
- Ensure clean and timelybooking of customer purchase orders, including: N
- Proactively audit open quotations for pre-booking accuracy N
- Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist N
- Review, interpret, and reconcile customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and work with Sales to resolve any discrepancies (units, products, pricing) N




- Attach customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and submit back to Order Management Specialist N
- Create quotes in the following exception-based circumstances: N
- In response to RFQs forknown BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers N
- In response to receivedpurchase orders that are not associated with an existing quote for BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers N
- To facilitate fast-turnopportunities requiring expedited / UPS RED / next day shipment N
- Exercise judgment in interpreting and implementing operating practices to resolve exceptions. N
- Act as liaison between Order Management, Sales, and customers regarding order status when in-country assistance is required N
- Assist in providing user experience support in Salesforce N
