Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care to patients and support doctors and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Maintain proper patient records, nursing notes, medication charts, and other documentation.
- Monitor patients for any change in condition and immediately report abnormalities to the doctor/senior nurse.
- Handle and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Maintain infection-control and aseptic practices.
- Ensure proper care and handling of medical equipment and nursing supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the patient-care area.
- Provide patient and attendant education regarding medication, diet, hygiene, treatment,



and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and other hospital departments.
- Ensure proper shift handover and continuity of patient care.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient-safety protocols.

Requirements
- Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
- Valid nursing registration.
- Freshers can apply; relevant hospital experience will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of emergency care, infection control, and patient safety.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Compassionate, attentive, and patient-focused approach.
