Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to build, scale, and lead multiple engineering teams responsible for developing enterprise data services and API-driven platforms that power critical business capabilities.

This role combines engineering leadership, technology strategy, and large-scale delivery accountability. The successful candidate will partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive platform modernization, establish engineering best practices, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The position requires a strong blend of people leadership, technical expertise, stakeholder management, and program execution within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and develop multiple software engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Drive the design, development, delivery, and operational support of enterprise data services, APIs, and business-critical technology platforms.
- Partner with business leaders, product teams, and architects to define technology strategy, roadmaps, and long-term engineering direction.
- Lead large-scale platform modernization and API transformation initiatives aimed at improving scalability, reliability, maintainability, and speed of delivery.




- Establish engineering standards, best practices, governance models, and quality frameworks across teams.
- Provide leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, release management, production readiness, and operational support.
- Build and manage high-performing teams, including hiring, coaching, succession planning, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Develop strong relationships with global stakeholders and drive alignment across geographically distributed teams.
- Monitor delivery performance through meaningful operational and engineering metrics, ensuring business commitments and service objectives are met.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery, operational, and technology risks across complex initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve engineering effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Oversee vendor and partner relationships where required and ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT delivery, project management, or technology leadership roles, with expertise in software implementation and team management.
- Bachelor s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or related field; Master s degree in Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience leading large engineering organizations and managing multiple software development teams.
- Strong program management, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise APIs, service-oriented architectures, microservices, or large-scale integration platforms.
- Strong technical leadership with the ability to partner effectively with architects and senior engineering leaders to define technology strategy and engineering standards.
- Experience leading platform modernization, cloud transformation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
- Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Investment Management, Insurance, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, contemporary software architecture patterns, API platforms, data services, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across global teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and deliver complex technology programs in fast-paced enterprise environments.
