Role & responsibilities

1. Candidate will be based at plant location of reputed Nutrition Company in Bangalore and will be responsible for responsible for the development, sourcing of packaging materials
2. Candidate will be responsible for Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable primary and secondary packaging materials for Nutraceutical and wellness products.
3. Candidate will be responsible for Develop innovative and differentiated packaging solutions aligned with product and brand requirements.
4. Candidate will be responsible for Coordinate with R&D;, Marketing, Regulatory and Design teams for packaging artwork development.
5. Candidate will be responsible for Manage development and sourcing of bottles, jars, tubes, sachets, pouches, blisters, foils, films, caps, closures, pumps, dispensers, induction seals, desiccants, and other product-contact components and Manage secondary packaging such as cartons, labels, shippers, corrugated boxes, inserts, sleeves, and promotional/display packaging.
6. Candidate will be responsible for artwork complies with applicable FSSAI, Legal Metrology and other regulatory requirements.





Preferred candidate profile

1. Graduate /B.Tech in Science, Pharmacy or Food Science & 2 years full time Diploma in Packaging Development from IIP or SIES Mumbai and Exp 48 years of relevant experience in Purchase of PM and Packaging Development, packaging sourcing, material development, or packaging procurement.
2. Candidate should have positive knowledge of food-contact and Nutraceutical packaging materials, including plastics, glass, aluminium, laminates, films, foils, cartons, closures, seals, and desiccants.
3. Candidate should have good knowledge of packaging trials, machine/line compatibility, scale-up, and commercialisation.
4. Candidate should have good knowledge of packaging cost optimisation, benchmarking, alternate sourcing, standardisation, and value engineering.
5. Candidate should have good knowledge of Nutraceutical/food-contact packaging and working with packaging converters, manufacturers, and component suppliers.
