Sr. Data Governance Analyst Offshore

NP-Immediate For a major financial services client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the Data Governance Program using Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) tools. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and accessibility of critical data assets within the financial services industry. This role requires a solid understanding of data governance principles, financial regulations, and data management tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Leverage Informatica CDGC to maintain an accurate and comprehensive data catalog, ensuring metadata accuracy and accessibility.
- Document data lineage, business definitions, and technical metadata for critical data elements (CDEs).
- Establish, implement and monitor data quality rules, thresholds, and metrics using Informatica CDQ.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data lineage, data quality issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Generate data quality reports and dashboards to communicate findings to data stewards.




- Collaborate with client business and technical teams to ensure alignment on data governance objectives.
- Closely work with data stewards to implement and maintain data catalog, data lineage, data quality management.
- Promote metadata adoption across the organization to drive transparency and traceability.

Experience Required

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Data Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8+ Years of experience required in IT industry.
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data stewardship roles, preferably in the financial industry.
- Proficiency with Informatica IDMC, CDGC, and CDQ tools.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
- Experience with data quality management, data profiling, and data lineage tools.
- 5+ years of experience in Unix, RDBMS and SQL.
- Understanding of financial data structures and processes, including risk, compliance, and reporting data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with client and manage their expectations & priorities
