Role Description The Sr Checker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Sr

Checker will be responsible for reviewing and validating detailed engineering drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards and client specifications. This includes checking dimensions, materials, connections, and layouts, coordinating with design and detailing teams to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring that all documentation meets quality and compliance requirements. The role involves collaborating with project managers and engineers, maintaining organized records of revisions,



and providing guidance to junior checkers or detailers to support timely and error-free project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong technical skills in engineering drawings, CAD tools, and 3D modeling software relevant to steel detailing, industrial projects, or BIM environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control, document review, and standards compliance, including the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and potential design issues.
- Candidates should possess skills in coordination and communication, including working closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to resolve queries and discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, track revisions, and meet strict deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in detailing/checking roles.
- Prior experience as a checker or senior detailer in steel detailing, industrial engineering, or construction-related projects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret international codes and standards, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and collaborate in a structured, process-driven environment.
