Position: Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Manager

Location: Bhayandar, Mumbai

Experience: 7+ Years

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to manage supplier quality and ensure that incoming materials and components meet defined quality standards. The role involves supplier audits, quality monitoring, corrective actions, vendor development and coordination with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities l Monitor supplier quality and ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.

l Conduct supplier/vendor audits and evaluate supplier capability and processes.

l Monitor supplier performance through PPM, rejection, defects and other quality parameters.

l Identify supplier-related quality issues and coordinate for timely corrective and preventive actions.

l Conduct root cause analysis and follow up with suppliers for effective resolution of quality issues.

l Support recent supplier development, evaluation and approval.

l Coordinate with suppliers for PPAP and other quality documentation.

l Support APQP activities for new products and supplier development.

l Work closely with Purchase, Production, Quality and NPD teams to resolve supplier-related issues.

l Drive supplier improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework and defects.

l Maintain supplier audit reports, quality records,



CAPA/8D reports and related documentation.

l Support incoming inspection and testing of materials/components.

l Ensure suppliers comply with defined quality standards and customer requirements.

Required Skills l Supplier Quality Assurance / Vendor Quality experience l Supplier audits and vendor development l Incoming Quality Control l PPAP and APQP l 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis l Basic knowledge of FMEA, SPC and MSA l Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 will be an advantage l Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills l Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Chemical, Production Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Rubber, Polymer, Automotive Components, Auto Ancillary or related Manufacturing industries will be preferred

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
