The role involves scanning shipments, entering shipment data, accurately segregating packages by route and pincode, and assisting with loading and unloading activities.

Key Responsibilities
Shipment Scanning & Data Input:
- Use handheld scanners or terminals to scan shipment barcodes and QR codes.
- Enter shipment information accurately into the system.
- Ensure shipment data is updated correctly for real-time tracking.
- Follow prescribed scanning and system procedures.
Shipment Segregation
- Sort shipments accurately into designated bins, bags, and route zones.
- Segregate packages based on First Mile pickup and Last Mile delivery pincodes.
- Ensure shipments are placed in the correct route or destination area.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency during high-volume sorting operations.
Loading & Unloading
- Assist in unloading inbound feeder trucks and vans.
- Load outbound delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Handle shipments carefully to minimize damage during movement.
- Arrange packages properly for smooth dispatch operations.
Quality & Safety Adherence
- Identify damaged parcels and report them to the concerned supervisor.
- Check shipments for missing or incorrect labels.
- Ensure sorted packages are properly bagged and sealed.
- Follow hub safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized working areas.
