Role Description The Sound Designer will work full time on-site in Mumbai, creating and implementing audio assets that enhance storytelling across Mythik’s entertainment projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing sound effects, recording and editing Foley, collaborating on music direction, and integrating audio into interactive and linear media experiences.

The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, animators, game designers,



and engineers to develop immersive soundscapes that reflect Eastern mythological worlds.

The Sound

Designer will also manage audio sessions, maintain organized sound libraries, and ensure consistent audio quality that aligns with Mythik’s creative vision and technical standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Sound Design and Foley for film, animation, games, or immersive experiences.
- Experience in Music Production and Music selection or supervision for narrative content.
- Proficiency in Audio Editing using industry-standard DAWs and audio tools.
- Knowledge of mixing, mastering, and audio post-production workflows.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling soundscapes.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative and technical teams.
- Familiarity with interactive audio, game engines, or spatial audio is a plus.
- Relevant degree or certification in audio engineering, sound design, music production, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet production timelines.
