Role: Software Tester

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

JOB SUMMARY

Key Expectations

- Software Test Engineer with 5-7 years of relevant experience and overall experience of less than 7 years.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing across web or mobile applications.
- Passionate about quality, with a solid foundation in test design and hands-on expertise in modern automation frameworks and tools.
- Join our team focused on developing advanced ultrasound imaging solutions for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) applications.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases and seamless user experiences.

Test Process & Execution

- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web or mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers to understand features and resolve defects.
- Provide timely status updates and risk assessments.




- Advocate for shift-left testing and quality engineering practices.

Soft Skills

- Communication: Clear reporting and documentation of test results and issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with developers, QA, and product managers.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and adjust to evolving technologies.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will

- Have a bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in software manual testing.
- Have hands-on experience in running manual automation on embedded target devices.
- Have solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Desired Skills

- Experience in Playwright or Selenium.
- Have hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Squish, and API/UI testing tools.
- Familiarity with operating signal generators and attenuators, and the ability to read signal delay and amplitude as required.
- Familiarity with message queuing systems for scalable test environments.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, Android/iOS platforms, and cross-platform testing.
- Experience in test automation for ultrasound or medical imaging.
- Knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
