Looking for Laboratory Operations Manager

Location : Bengaluru, Hosur

NP: Immediate

Experience: 6–12 years of experience in testing laboratories / quality /

n

environmental testing, with exposure to lab operations and team management

n

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field

n

Technical Knowledge: Positive understanding of testing standards, lab operations, and

n

quality systems (ISO/IEC 17025 preferred)

n

n

Primary Job Responsibilities:

n

1. Test Activity Management: Plan, schedule, and monitor all testing activities to ensure

n

timely execution and optimal utilization of resources.

n

2. Customer Coordination C Communication: Manage test slot bookings, provide status

n

updates, and handle customer queries, clarifications, and escalations.

n

3. Program C SRF Management: Review and approve SRFs, ensure proper sample tracking,

n

and monitor execution of test programs as per requirements.

n

4. Internal Coordination: Coordinate with operations, delivery, finance, and sales teams to

n

ensure smooth execution and alignment of test programs.

n

5. Maintenance Management: Plan and oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance;

n

coordinate with AMC/service teams to ensure minimal downtime.

n

6. Quality Management: Implement and monitor quality objectives, ensure compliance

n

with standards (ISO/IEC), and maintain overall lab quality systems.

n

Non-Conformance Handling: Identify, document, and manage non-conforming work;

n

perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.

n

8. Calibration Management: Plan and ensure timely calibration of all equipment and

n

instruments; maintain records and traceability.

n

9. Resource C Shift Management: Allocate manpower, manage shifts, and ensure

n

availability of skilled resources for uninterrupted operations.

n

10. Test Report Management: Review, verify, and approve test reports ensuring accuracy,

n

completeness, and compliance with requirements.11. Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on test setup, execution, troubleshooting, and

n

ensure correct data recording and interpretation.

n

12. Performance C Training: Identify training needs, evaluate team performance, and ensure

n

competency development.

n

13. Data C Documentation Management: Ensure proper maintenance of records, logbooks,

n

utilization data, and audit readiness.

n

14. Safety C Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of

n

equipment, and safe working conditions in the lab.

n

15. Customer Satisfaction C Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints, minimize

n

delays, and ensure timely delivery of services.

n

16. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and

n

enhance quality and productivity.
