Engineering Team Lead (Python + Typescript) — Bengaluru Experience: 5–7 years | Joining: Immediate About the Role: Lead a small engineering team building high-volume, data-intensive systems that transform complex enterprise data into accurate, machine-readable outputs. You’ll work closely with the founder on architecture and own system reliability, scalability, and correctness. What Makes This Role Different: This is not a pure people-management role. You’ll remain deeply hands-on with architecture, production systems, and technical decisions. You’ll also be expected to operate effectively in ambiguity and challenge existing architectural decisions when needed. What You’ll Own: - Drive architecture across TypeScript/NestJS workflows and Python data/AI services - Build reliable long-running workflows with durable execution, retries, and idempotency - Design scalable data processing using Polars, DuckDB, Parquet, and streaming - Build evaluation and regression frameworks to measure AI/system accuracy - Own production systems running in customer cloud environments - Lead hiring, code reviews, technical decisions, and mentor engineers - Maintain clean boundaries between workflow orchestration,



AI/agent execution, and bulk data processing What We’re Looking For: - 5–7 years building backend, distributed, or data-intensive systems - Solid expertise in Python or TypeScript, with working proficiency in the other - Experience taking systems from design → production → ongoing ownership - Strong understanding of distributed systems, retries, idempotency, failures, and long-running workflows - Hands-on experience with high-volume data processing - Engineering leadership experience — mentoring, reviewing, and raising technical standards - Strong focus on correctness, observability, and production reliability Strong Plus: - Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms - LLM/AI systems with measurable evaluation - Polars, DuckDB, Arrow, Parquet - Azure and enterprise cloud environments - LangGraph / agentic workflows - Docker, Terraform/Bicep, OpenTelemetry Tech Stack: Python · TypeScript · NestJS · Temporal · LangGraph · Polars · DuckDB · Parquet · Pydantic · PostgreSQL · Redis · Azure · Docker · Terraform/Bicep · React
