Position Summary

DPS Hyderabad is seeking passionate, qualified, and innovative educators to teach Social Science across Primary (Classes 3–5), Middle (Classes 6–8), and Secondary (Classes 9–10) levels. Candidates will foster critical thinking, spatial awareness, civic responsibility, and historical understanding in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Key Responsibilities

- Pedagogy & Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons covering Environmental Studies (Primary) and History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics (Middle & Secondary).
- CBSE & NEP Compliance: Implement Art-Integrated Learning (AIL), experiential learning, and project-based methodologies as mandated by CBSE board standards.
- Board Examination Prep: Prepare Secondary students (Classes 9–10) thoroughly for school assessments and CBSE Board Examinations, with a focus on map work,



source-based questions, and analytical answer writing.
- Interactive Learning: Facilitate hands-on map work, model UNs, mock parliaments, historical research projects, and heritage club activities.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design standard-aligned question papers, evaluate student portfolios, and provide actionable feedback to support diverse learning paces.

Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria Primary Teacher (PRT): B.A. in History/Geography/Political Science + B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.2–3 years teaching Environmental Studies/Social Studies in a recognized school.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): B.A. / B.Sc. in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics + B.Ed. (CTET qualification preferred).3–5 years teaching Social Science to Classes 6–10 in a CBSE school, with a proven track record in Class 10 Board prep.
