We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Engineer – Civil to supervise and execute civil construction activities for an IOCL Retail Outlet project in Katihar, Bihar.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 4 years of proven experience in civil construction, particularly in building construction, pipeline works (water, petroleum, and gas), or similar structural/civil infrastructure projects. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day site execution, manpower coordination, quality control, measurements, and project progress.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Execute construction works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise activities related to building construction, foundations, concrete works, structural works, paving, drainage, and other civil works.
- Supervise pipeline-related civil works, including water, petroleum, and gas pipeline installations and associated civil activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, labour teams, vendors, and project management personnel.
- Ensure proper deployment and utilization of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment at site.
- Check construction work for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Take site measurements and maintain records of quantities executed.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, material records, and work reports.
- Monitor project progress and ensure assigned activities are completed within the planned timeline.




- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Engineer/Project Manager for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with site safety procedures and applicable project requirements.
- Coordinate inspection and rectification of civil works as required by the client/consultant.
- Assist in preparing material requirements and ensuring timely availability of construction materials.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings, measurements, work progress, and site instructions.
- Liaise with the client/IOCL representatives and other stakeholders at site as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in civil construction/site execution.
- Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Building construction
- Petroleum/gas/water pipeline projects
- Industrial or infrastructure construction
- Petrol pump/retail outlet construction
- Foundation, RCC and structural civil works
- Candidates with prior experience in IOCL/HPCL/BPCL retail outlet or petroleum-related civil projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction practices, drawings, measurements, BOQ, and site execution.
- Ability to coordinate and manage contractors and labour teams.
- Positive communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at the project site in Katihar, Bihar and manage site responsibilities independently.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
