We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities for residential and commercial projects at our Hosur project site. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction, site execution, quality control, and coordination with contractors and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and other project teams.
- Monitor civil works, structural works, finishing works, and other site activities.
- Check the quality of materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress reports, measurements, and other documentation.
- Ensure construction activities are completed within the planned timeline and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical and execution issues.
- Coordinate with the project manager/engineer regarding site progress and requirements.
- Monitor manpower and material requirements at the site.
- Ensure proper implementation of safety procedures and site regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and track project progress.
- Verify measurements and assist with quantity estimation and billing-related activities when required.
Required Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Robust knowledge of site execution and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and BOQ.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and workers at the site.
- Knowledge of construction quality and safety standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Candidates willing to work at the Hosur project site are preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with hands-on experience in residential/commercial building projects.
- Candidates who can independently handle site activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Immediate joiners / short notice candidates preferred.
