Job Role: QuickBooks ERP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

n

Client Consultation & Requirements Gathering

n

n
- Partner with clients to understand their business processes, financial operations, and existing technology landscape.
n
- Conduct discovery workshops and gather business requirements to design and implement ERP solutions aligned with customer needs.
n

n

ERP Implementation & Configuration

n

n
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including solution configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
n
- Configure financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Payments, and Financial Reporting.
n
- Coordinate system integrations with third-party applications and ensure successful implementation outcomes.
n

Business Process Transformation

n

n
- Analyze existing financial and operational processes and recommend best-practice ERP configurations to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting.
n
- Support clients in adopting standardized business processes and optimizing system utilization.
n

n

Product Expertise & Client Enablement

n

n
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
n
- Deliver functional training and knowledge transfer sessions to end users and client stakeholders.
n
- Provide guidance on system capabilities, reporting,



and process optimization while resolving functional issues during implementation.
n

Multi-Entity Accounting

n

n
- Configure ERP solutions to support organizations with multiple legal entities, business units, or subsidiaries.
n
- Ensure accurate financial consolidation, reporting, and compliance across entities.
n

n

Stakeholder Collaboration & Issue Resolution

n

n
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Project Management to resolve implementation challenges.
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for implementation-related activities and ensure a seamless customer onboarding experience.
n

n

Solution Optimization & Best Practices

n

n
- Recommend industry best practices for ERP adoption and financial process improvement.
n
- Customize system configurations, workflows, reports, and dashboards to meet client-specific business requirements.
n

n

Continuous Improvement

n

n
- Capture customer feedback and implementation insights to support continuous enhancement of implementation methodologies and product capabilities.
n
- Contribute to process improvements, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and implementation documentation.
n

n

Preferred Skills

- Strong knowledge of ERP implementation methodologies and financial business processes.
n
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, payroll, and taxation.
n
- Experience with ERP configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, and user training.
n
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
n
- Solid presentation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

Experience

n

n
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation, financial software implementation, or consulting.
n
- 2–3 years of client-facing experience implementing ERP or enterprise financial management solutions.
n
- Mandatory QuickBooks experience.
n
- Strong experience implementing ERP solutions with exposure to financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Payments.
n
- Experience in finance transformation, finance consulting, or ERP implementation projects.
n
- Proven ability to manage multiple implementation projects and customer engagements simultaneously.
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
n
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and consultative skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for business users.
n
- Experience working with ERP configuration, data migration, system integrations, and user adoption is preferred.
n

Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounts, Finance, or related fields.
