Job Summary
Tritech is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Service Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the erection, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of gas detection systems at customer sites across India. The role requires frequent travel, basic technical knowledge, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Erection, installation of cable trays, cable laying, drilling, welding etc. of electronic equipment and accessories.
- Install and test gas detection systems at customer sites and in-house.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify basic electrical and electronic faults.
- Carry out calibration and functional testing of gas detection devices.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper equipment performance.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and job documentation.
- Travel across India for installation, maintenance, and service assignments.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools and measuring instruments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of gas detection systems, industrial instrumentation, or field service is an added advantage.
