Job Purpose
Responsible for the overall management of the Service Department, ensuring productive workshop operations, customer satisfaction, service revenue growth and adherence to Maruti Suzuki/NEXA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop operations and ensure smooth vehicle flow from reception to delivery.
- Lead and monitor Service Advisors, Technicians and service staff.
- Achieve monthly targets for vehicle inflow, labour sales, parts sales and service revenue.
- Monitor technician productivity, workshop efficiency and bay utilization.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper diagnosis, repair quality, final inspection and timely vehicle delivery.
- Monitor warranty claims and ensure compliance with Maruti Suzuki/NEXA standards.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Review daily/monthly MIS and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety, cleanliness and operational standards.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in automobile service/workshop operations.
- Experience in a Maruti Suzuki/NEXA dealership will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, customer-handling, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Target-oriented with good knowledge of workshop operations and service processes.
