Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and technically sound Service Engineer to join the OAIP-Canon Division at Marikar Group in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Canon office automation and imaging products at client locations. This role requires strong technical aptitude, customer-facing communication skills, and the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and commission Canon office automation products (such as multi-function printers, copiers, and related hardware) at customer sites.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal performance of deployed equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues reported by clients within the designated SLA.
- Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts management and warranty/service escalations.




- Provide basic operational training to end-users on device handling, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate service logs, call reports, and customer sign-offs for all assigned service tickets.
- Represent the Marikar Group professionally, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) OR Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant field service or technical support experience.
- Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
- Good problem-solving abilities and analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications and network configuration (printer networking/IP setup).
- Other Requirements: Valid two-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Trivandrum for field service calls.

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
